About the event
This class aims to give participants an understanding of curly haircutting and the rationale behind strong shape-based haircuts, without any unnecessary theatrics.
It will feature a live demonstration, focusing on cutting curly hair using fundamental shapes and techniques. This approach is designed to help create styles for all curly-haired clients using straightforward, accessible methods.
I will perform one or two haircuts, depending on the time available, and provide a PowerPoint presentation for attendees to take notes. By utilizing head shape maps and visual aids, including an analysis of the four categories of curly hair, I intend to engage stylists of all experience levels. I will discuss the various commonly used shapes in curly cutting and how to apply them effectively.
